Digital X-Ray at Dr. Anand's Diagnostic uses advanced flat-panel detector technology to produce high-resolution images instantly, with significantly lower radiation dose compared to conventional film X-ray. Images are available for review within minutes of the examination.
Our digital X-ray system is used for evaluating the chest (lungs, heart), bones, joints, spine, skull and sinuses. The enhanced image quality allows our radiologists to detect subtle abnormalities that might be missed on conventional film, improving diagnostic accuracy.
Digital X-Ray Monitor
We perform chest X-rays, skeletal surveys, spine radiographs (cervical, dorsal, lumbar), joint X-rays (shoulder, knee, hip, wrist, ankle), skull and sinus X-rays, and abdomen radiographs.
Yes. Any metal objects in the area being imaged — including jewellery, belts and clothing with metal zips — should be removed before the scan to avoid artefacts that can obscure the image.
Digital X-ray uses very low levels of ionising radiation. The dose is much lower than conventional film X-ray. Pregnant women should inform the technician beforehand so appropriate shielding can be provided.
Reports are typically ready within 30–60 minutes of the examination. For urgent requests, immediate reporting can be arranged.
